Crocosaurus Cove, located in the heart of Darwin, allows visitors an up-close and personal view of Australia's iconic saltwater crocodiles and their hatchlings. The site houses the popular "Cage of Death", where you can come face to face with some of the largest crocodiles in captivity. Bring your swimsuit for the "Swim with the Crocs" experience in a protected swimming area allowing visitors to get extremely close to some very active juvenile crocs. You can also try to feed them, accompanied by an experienced staff member, or simply stand by for a rare photo opportunity. The site is also home to the world's largest display of Australian reptiles and a huge freshwater aquarium filled with barramundi fish. Put Crocosaurus Cove and other Darwin attractions into our Darwin trip planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

Wow, what a great attraction. Staff are very informative and seem to take great pride in their job. Cage of death is well worth a look, couldn't gain the courage to do it myself. Make sure you go to the fish feeding, so much variety in the way the staff member feeds the different fish breeds.

Great place to visit with kids. It's a small place smack in the middle of Darwin down town which would probably take you max an hour to tour. However the staff is super friendly and they have few interactive shows where u can hold the reptiles. I found the cage of death to be exciting but it is not the best thing for the crocs as they seem to be disturbed by the glass cage
