Chinook Rafting, Banff

Just a brilliant family experience, and a must if you're in the Rockies! Can't recommend these guys highly enough. All the Guides are friendly, helpful, funny, and know their stuff. They made it very easy for us, as beginners, to enjoy the trip loads, including the younger kids who loved it. Our guide, Vikram, was a top guy - made it very clear what we had to do to get the most out of it and stay safe and have a lot of laughs. We did the family trip, so only level 2-3 rapids, still loads of fun, and hopefully we can do 4+ when our youngest is big enough.

The rafting trip with Chinook was one of the highlights of our trip. We went the very first day of the 2018 season and were skeptic due to the temps of the “refreshing” water. The atmosphere was great, the guide was awesome, every member of the staff was welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend taking time during your holiday to spend a few hours with Chinook. If we had more time, we would do it again. We’ve done most of the tourist attractions, and besides seeing a grizzly and wolf, this tops everything else. To put it lightly, if you are thinking about booking a reservation and then don’t, you’re stupid and can head back to the airport.
