#15 of 70 in Outdoors in Banff National Park
Must see · Outdoor Activity · Hidden Gem
Banff's iron path offers three routes, all equipped with anchored cables, ladders, and bridges with hand-holds--enabling even inexperienced climbers to conquer the trek. For each of the routes, a certified guide takes a group of two to eight people, and supplies them with the necessary equipment. The Mountaineer route leads you to the east summit, which offers superb 360-degree views. With our custom trip planner, Banff National Park attractions like Via Ferrata can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.
