Bell Centre, Montreal

4.3

The Bell Centre (French: Centre Bell), formerly known as the Molson Centre (or Le Centre Molson), is a multi-purpose arena in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It opened on March 16, 1996, after nearly three years under construction. It is best known as the home of the National Hockey League's Montreal Canadiens ice hockey team, and it has the largest arena capacity to regularly host an NHL team.

It is currently owned by a partnership group headed by Geoff Molson and his brothers, Andrew and Justin. The same ownership group also owns the Montreal Canadiens and Evenko, an entertainment event promoter. Since it opened in 1996, it has consistently been listed as one of the world's busiest arenas, usually receiving the highest attendance of any arena in Canada. In 2012, it was the fifth-busiest arena in the world based on ticket sales for non-sporting events.

  • Bell Center is the one and only place to go to. Great seats that take you away. Leaving your faces in awe. The hockey matches there are exceptional, in rare occasions NBA games makes it there and you must attend it. And sometimes, artists, new or veteran, make their appearance in there. It's just an amazing experience when events take place there. Although, the prices vary by the seat you take. It's still a very opportunity to rave or chill with your friends. A very enjoyable place.
  • We went to see Disney's On Ice Mickey's Search Party. I am a huge Disney fan and therefore so are my children. We have been to almost every show including Disney Live and this was by far one of the best. It covered every movie from Toy Story to Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Coco, Frozen (and I am sure I am forgetting 1 or 2). Not to mention having Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald - all the kids faves!! Fabulous time for the family!
