Chinatown, Montreal

2.2
Find the heart of Montreal's Asian communities at Chinatown, a long-established area giving visitors a taste of the Far East. Browse the many stores and stalls selling food products, trinkets, and clothes from China and elsewhere in Asia. Stop off in one of the many eateries, selling everything from Cantonese seafood dishes to Korean barbecue, dim sum, and pho. First established in 1877, the neighborhood has been officially deemed a tourist area, meaning its businesses can stay open long into the evening, and making the area a popular nightlife haunt.
