  • I live in Toronto and have gone to the Drugstore every time I have gone to Montreal in the last 5+ years. Last weekend (during the very busy Divercite festival), I was surprised to see that the bar sat practically empty for most of the weekend. Regardless, I gave it a try anyway. I found unattentive bartenders and ridiculously slow service. The bar is now littered with video gaming machines and $1 stuffed teddy grab games. When there are 1000's of people visiting the city for the festival, I can only describe the effort put on by this bar as LAZY. No DJ and no extra staff on hand to handle the increased volume. No wonder this bar was empty. For me to visit Le Drugstore again, they will need to do a lot better than that.
  • the terrasse is pretty great
