Maisonneuve Park (French: Parc Maisonneuve) is an urban park in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough.

Established in 1910, it is 118 hectares (290 acres) in size, with 38 hectares occupied by the Montreal Botanical Garden and Montreal Insectarium, 55 hectares (140 acres) by a nine-hole public golf course and the remaining 25 hectares (62 acres) hectares by public spaces. Originally the park contained an 18-hole golf course which was reduced to 9 holes in the mid-1970s in order to construct the Montreal Olympic Park.

Maisonneuve Park borders partially on Sherbrooke Street East.

It is named in honour of Paul Chomedey de Maisonneuve, founder of Montreal.
The park is a unique place where people enjoy walking day or night, bicycling on its bike trail which runs all the way around the park. The center of the park is a calm area where people enjoy picnics and tranquility and is very popular among young people and families.

The loop section of the bicycle path is 3.1 kilometres (1.9 mi) long. This does not include the path outside the fenced area, along Sherbrooke St.

It has been the site for Montreal's annual Fête nationale du Québec concert on June 24, but in 2015 the festivities were held in the Place des Festivals instead.

  • This is one of the best places of Montréal, very quiet place in the east, big park to do biking, rollerblade, running, picnic, yoga, read, you name it. (Except BBQ) this is one of the Montréal...  more »
  • For me it's our best. Perfect for picnics. Tons of green grassy space and picnic tables everywhere you've got to explore this place if you haven't yet.  more »

  • This is an incredible park for the family with tons of space. A tranquil gem in the city! There are trails dedicated to running and walking as well as dedicated biking trails. There are nice sections of large trees with plenty of shade and open spaces perfect for enjoying the sun! There are nice facilities, with water and some vending snacks as well as picnic benches and sitting structures along the trails. If you are lucky, you might stumble upon the sheep as they munch the grasses. This is also a great place to bird watch within city limits! During the winter, you can cross country ski or snowshoe with the family :)
  • Big and green. Good place to lay in the grass, grab a tan, ride your bike, jog the path, get some friends together and throw the frisbee. It's clean and well taken care of. I appreciated that the most.
