Reynolds-Alberta Museum celebrates the Spirit of the Machine and interprets the impact of technological change in transportation, aviation, agriculture, and industry from the 1890s through to today. Of the more than 7,000 artifacts (cars, airplanes, tractors, and industrial machines) in this collection, only about 100 are on display to the public at any given time. The exhibits rotate on a regular basis, so you never know what treasures you will see when you visit. Inside the gallery, take a self-guided tour, watch short films in the Starlight Drive-In or in the main theater, take a White Glove Tour, or play the Pursuit of McLaughlin game. In summer, let your inner aviator soar in an open cockpit biplane, or take a vintage vehicle tour of the museum grounds. Warehouse tours offer a chance to see more of the treasures stored in the transportation and aviation quadrants of the Collection Storage Facility. And check out exceptional special events happening between June and October. Make Reynolds-Alberta Museum part of your personalized Wetaskiwin itinerary using our Wetaskiwin online itinerary planner.

OK, I was not prepared to be impressed, in fact, more like bored. So I was very surprised to find out this museum is super interesting and so well laid out. We went during Harvest Fair and even got to see old farm machines actually harvesting. Pretty neat. For $13 it is a good deal and lots to see. Well done!
This museum had so many amazing exhibits about machines; cars, planes, farming equipment, motorcycles and so much more. The Canadian Aviation Hall of Fame is also part of this museum. We took a chauffeur driven vintage car over to the Hall of Fame (included in the cost). Our driver was so knowledgeable, informative and interesting. The museum is very kid friendly with many interactive displays and activities. What a great way to spend a day!
