We were two tourists all week The area is unfortunately orange on the maps of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We felt completely safe, constantly supervised by the eco-guards who are remarkably well organized. There are three eco-guard camps in the park. A bai Hokou where the researchers live and where we were able to visit two groups of gorillas used to. In Dzanga bayiwhere we were able to attend for two whole days the permanent ballet of the troops of elephants, bongos of bufles...... And a third camp that deals with a third family of regular gorillas whose silver back is called Mayele. All lovers of nature, silence and wildlife must go to Dzanga to ensure that the last african forest elephants still at peace live.
