  • We loved this experience. Fun to stand on the Equator Line. We balanced the egg, walked the line, and visited all the exhibits. We loved learning about the early life in Ecuador.  more »

  • This place was amazing. The guides were extremely informative and it blew me away to see the difference in physics five feet can make when on the true equator and just off it. The museum did an amazing job at not only explaining the importance of the true equator line but also the history of the indigenous people of the region
  • It's a little hard to find but it's the real Equator. Just down the road from the large tourist equator, you will find this. It is set like an old village, with a guide I highly recommend using their tour included in your entrance fee. They show and explain the shrunken heads. Show you scientific proof about the equator including the Coriolis effect and balancing on the equator line. It's great fun. It's only $5. There is a little gift shop where the lady sells you beautiful hand crafts while the gent makes items in front of you. Great place to spend an hour.
