Pamper yourself at The Friedrichsbad, a luxurious, Roman-inspired oasis. You can choose from several thermal pools, open-air baths, saunas, and spa services. Take a tranquil swim in the dome-covered thermal pool, or unwind with a warm air bath before a refreshing soap-and-brush massage. No matter what you select, rest assured that the spa follows a 17-step bathing tradition. The bathhouse allows no clothing. Keeping with tradition, men and women bathe separately. The Friedrichsbad Reviews
My husband and I came here on a Friday evening and loved it! It was during a coed day, but don't let that scare you (fellow Americans). You literally do not need to bring anything with you. The staff ... more »

We went to Friedrichsbad after a leisurely shopping walk. At the moment half of the bath is closed for refurbishment (there are days when women and men are separated), but this does not affect the relaxation in any way! We, my wife and I were even in Friedrichsbad 2 times over Pentecost – it's just wonderful. We had booked the soap brush massage directly at the time of booking – just relaxing. A numbered sequence of stations with various actions, from showering to hot air rooms with loungers, to soap brush massage, steam bath to different tempered water basins, partly with permanent air bubble supply / a hot tub) ensure a gently building on each other's relaxation process. At each station is a short description with a recommended residence time. Before the almost total relaxation comes to an end, you can let yourself be pampered with a cream massage – or cream yourself at a cream station.
