  • I really wish we could have released our turtles. We spent 30 minutes running around the beach trying to find the turtles. The people at the conversation center didn’t tell us it ends at 4:30PM. We fe...  more »
  • There are two highlights here: 1) You can let freshly hatched turtles from the sand into the water for the first time. 2) You can adopt a 3-day-old turtle and then release it into the sea - WOW! Simply indescribable and determined one of the best experiences of our holiday! You shouldn't expect too much from the center itself - it's very simple, but definitely worth the trip for animal lovers!

  • Love this place! Free guided tours and you can see that they really care for the injured turtles! If you go please put a donation in the box so they can continue their great work!
  • Love what they do here. It's small but educational. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We adopted a turtle for 150k Rupiah, which will be released this week. Unfortunately they no longer allow witness the release as the beach is no longer accessible to non locals. It seems the organization is fighting for the right but due to civil development it's in bureaucratic hands. There is no entrance fee, they work by donation only. If you drive a scooter there is a parking fee of 2,000 Rupiah. There's lots to learn here and see turtles up close and personal. Highly recommend, especially for kids.
