  • If you like the maritime history then you must go and see this museum. It covers the Irish Light House Service, the irish Naval Service and the Emergency Period of World War II. There is new exhibition for the LMS Leinster which was torpoed on 10 October 1918. This was the greatest ever sea tragedy in Irish waters. There is lots to do and see and its free to visit. • The Church where the Museum is located is very beautiful and the Museum has references in the history of navigation which largely justified his visit, but of course if they are in Dun Laoghaire, go by the way I seem excessive.

  • Fascinating place. The Mariners Church itself is interesting, and the restoration including the roof is beautiful. The historical exhibits are to do with the merchant marine and the post/ferry boats target than the Navy. The tour is well with taking, the guide had lots of detail and anecdotes.
  • Great place to visit. Brought my three children and Derek was so helpful answering all their many questions!
