Find a place of spirituality in the center of the city during a visit to Hie Jinjya. Established during the 14th century as part of a wider fort, the shrine was moved to its current location in the 17th century. Dedicated to the Tokugawa shoguns who led the country during the Edo era, the complex enshrines the rulers as "kami" (gods). Though destroyed during the bombing of Tokyo during World War II, the shrine has been redeveloped to match its original appearance, apart from an escalator that now takes weary workers up to pay their respects after a long day at the office. • It is said to be the birthplace of 75 three visits. There is also an original content called go board ritual, and there is also a restaurant where you can have a dinner, so you can hold an event in one stop.

  • It is comfortable in the top class in the shrine in the center of tokyo. The contrast with the surrounding skyscrapers is an interesting harmony. As an aside, after the visit, i'd like to have german apple pancakes at origami in the capital tokyu next door.
