Gushing out of the foothills of Mount Fuji, and now part of the Fujisan Cultural Site World Heritage List, Shiraito Falls once gave rise to the Fuji cult. White silky streams of the 20 m (65 ft) high and 150 m (492 ft) wide cascade pour into a large pond surrounded by lush greenery. You will arrive at the falls from the top and see some food stalls, but you should also take a short hike to admire the cascade from the bottom. If you're lucky, you'll even see a rainbow. The falls are a 30-minute bus ride from Fujinomiya station, and also offer parking facilities.   富士宮道路上井手インターチェンジを降りて約1キロ。車でのアクセスの良い場所にあります。軽井沢の白糸の滝の類似を想像していましたが、こちらの感想は、ダイナミックでした。  more »

  It is about 1 kilometer from the Kamiide interchange on fujinomiya road. It is within easy reach of the property by car. I imagined the similarity of Shiraito Falls in Karuizawa, but the impression here was dynamic.

  Impressive waterfalls creating by layers of volcanic lava flows. You'll see an entire wall of water coming down at the same face. Pretty cool to admire geology and soak in the views.

  Beautiful place for nature lovers. The falls are about 100m long. The park has different points of view to the falls. The best part is that it changes with seasons and especially colorful during the fall season!
