  • It is a Tendai sect temple in a residential area under the slope in front of Inajo Station. I used to pass in front of this place at work, and i was always interested in a splendid gate. I finally had a chance to visit here on vacation. I was able to confirm the splendor of the mountain gate again. It is a gate with a great profound feeling. The precincts inside the gate are not so wide, but there are quite a few things to see, such as stone monuments, stone statues, and stone towers. The most interesting thing is the Jizo Bodhisattva Tower. It was built by the people of Naganuma Village Shimo-Nitta in the fourth year (1664) and was described as the oldest in existence in the city. It is said that it was born from a complex combined belief in the private sector, such as the belief in the shini, and the manners and customs. It was very small, but it was a cultural property designated by Inajo City and was quaint. The treasure tower, the bell tower, the statue of The Peace of Jishi Kannon, and the Jizo Bodhisattva statue are also wonderful. There are a lot of lovely jizo-san in the precincts, and it becomes more and more happy when seeing in detail. I entered expecting only the mountain gate, but it was a wonderful temple unexpectedly.

  • It was a very beautiful and wonderful temple with garden trees, Buddha statues and mountain gates. There was a private parking lot beside the mountain gate, and when i parked my car there and climbed it from the mountain gate, there was a beautiful weeping plum tree next to it. The size and power of the twisted and powerful pine trees is amazing. Surrounded by many Buddha statues, I joined hands and felt good about visiting and came home comfortably.
