You can go in there to ask for information for free (they have lots of flyers and brochures of activities and museums in many languages). On the top floor is a bar and a rooftop terrace (it's free, no consumption) that will make you admire the beauty of the Asakusa district, on a historic side, with market views and Senso-ji; on the other hand modernity with the Tokyo Sky Tree and the city skyline. There is also free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
more »If you come here, you will be told carefully that you have something you don't know about sightseeing in the Taitung area. There is a tourist information magazine on the second floor, and there is wi-fi and a communication board, too. Because it is not crowded with a lot of people, i can relax because it is possible to look down from the second floor because it is in front of The Kaminarimon, but there was scheduled time, and it did not take a picture this time. It is famous, but it is designed by Kengo Kuma.
Staff very helpful with your inquiries. They provide good info with tourist destinations you're interested at. They also have staff who speak good English. Nice viewing deck on the 8th floor.
A great place to stop by before or after going to the temple. The staff are very friendly and can speak English. At the very top, there is an observatory where you can see the area around you. I got a great shot of Nakamise and another of the Skytree. The intermediate levels serve as a museum, so definitely check that out as well.
