Tokyo National Museum Reviews
特別展のチケットで常設展も見れたります。国宝級の逸品が揃っています。この日は時間もあり、裏の日本庭園の散策もしました。狭い場所ですが、いかにも日本という感じがしてとても良いと思います。 more »I was able to see a permanent exhibition with tickets for the special exhibition. We have a national treasure class gem. There was time on this day, too and we took a walk in the japanese garden behind us. It's a small place, but I think it's really good to feel like Japan.

The temporary exhibition at the moment (forbidden photos) is exceptional.
Only went to the Japanese section. This museum is amazing. It has a greatly diverse collection of Japanese art. There is a Kabuki section and a tea ceremony section. There are a lot of amazing collections. It's fascinating. Definitely recommend.
Well maintained, huge museum. There's a lot to see and the people are usually pretty quiet. Lot of interesting artifacts and totally worth the ticket price. Ueno Park is beautiful too! The tickets are (much) cheaper if you show your passport and/or student ID (for college kids). Free for children (under 18).
