  • Located in Taito-ku, Tokyo, the nearest stations are Sendagi Station and Nippori Station. There are stairs of the sunset near the entrance on the east side. It is a historic shopping street that was born in Showa 20. In the shopping district, there are many fried foods and skewers suitable for eating and walking. All stores open around 11 o'clock, but it's around 12 o'clock when menchikatsu and fried foods are on sale, so i recommend going there at that time.

  • A fantastic place to visit. For the fun, many people wear traditional clothes and shoes. It look.like a mix of old Japan and the new one. Very good place for souvenirs items.  more »

  • Open air shopping and eating streets. There are restaurants and food stall vendors too. Few hand made craft shops and souvenir shops. Souvenirs are unique to the area not usual types (the type you can find anywhere). Small area but wasn't too busy. Love the sake stall. Drinking on the street legally!
  • Very atmospheric part of Tokyo, little quirky shops and food stalls, also Mediterranean restaurant, lamp making workshops, Indian restaurant. Many temples and You cemetery near by... If you love cats... This place it's all about cats... It's worth staying there for a day or two to enjoy atmosphere.
