  A thousand times better than the tourist traps in Sintra. The sanctuary is small and you can't go inside but it's free, has a great view and is located along a scenic mountain road and in a beautiful....  more »

  Not accessible by public transport. You need to have your own car to go here. Once you are on the site it is worth it! Along the way is a quiet road. Good for forest and mountain lovers. Have enough gasoline and water. Some areas have no phone signals.
