At Jungmun Saekdal Beach explore a long, wide arc of sheltered sand bordered by clear, calm seas. The clean beach hosts many annual events, including winter swimming and international surfing competitions. Amenities are few in the surrounding area, so bring along a picnic and some water. Look for a natural sea cave on the right hand side of the beach. You'll need to descend a prolonged, steep slope to the site, which may pose a problem to those with mobility issues.     The beach itself is beautiful and spacious with different activites to do along the beach, only thing is you have to take 10000 stairs to reach the beach itself.  more »

    This beach is recommended by all as a "best beach on Jeju". I'm disagree, mostly absolutely. The Jungmun is perfect and ideal and best beach on Jeju for surfers only! And there are pretty overcrowded....  more »

    Pricy Menu at the restaurant but totally worth the experience. Great beach. Surfing lessons are available too. Could do with a cafe though.(personal preference)
