National Museum of Korea Reviews

The exhibition shows a lot about the history and social development of Korea. Since we were in the museum on a weekday, there were also a lot of school classes on the way.
You could probably spend an entire day here, if not more! This is one of the biggest museums I've ever visited, but it's beautiful. It's very well curated as well. Keep in mind that unless Korean and ... more »
This is a world class museum focusing on Korean art and it's influences. I loved the porcelains, Buddha statues, and tomb murals. The building and facilities were beautiful with several gift shops, snack bars, and plenty of spots to rest. Plan on at least 3 hours to see it all quickly. There's also an app in English to describe the best exhibits in more detail than the placards on the pieces...and entrance to the museum is free!
Great place to spend a day esp if you want to give an education to your kids in human evolution and Korea history. The place is one of the best community places I have seen and love the fact that it's geared to have locals as much as visitors. You can also find cultural festivals and performances happening in the special exhibition area
