  A spectacular setting for a very peaceful and inspiring experience. Quite a few things to explore in the Church itself but also around it. There is a feast for the eyes in the frescoes for the Rosary/principle beliefs of the Catholic Church around the main plaza, a Way of the Cross outside it for prayerful reflection/devotion, the Hermitage at a short walking distance, and the immediate backdrop of the stunning reservoir and more distance snow-capped Pyrenees. These are more clearly visible on a cooler day. There is also a fine collection of statues of the Blessed Virgin Mary from around the world to illustrate the universal and ancient trust in, and devotion to, the Mother of God as Christians profess her to be.
