Often referred to as Iceland's second city, Akureyri offers an array of cultural attractions in a scenic setting.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Sat): take in the dramatic scenery at Goðafoss Waterfall and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saurbaejarkirkja. Keep things going the next day: trot along with a tour on horseback.
