Start off your visit on the 3rd (Fri): kick back and relax at Playa Bonita, then stroll through Punta Bonita, then kick back and relax at Playa Las Ballenas, and finally kick back and relax at Playa Coson Beach. Here are some ideas for day two: tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa Punta Popy, see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, and then stroll through Playa Moron.

Traveling from Las Terrenas in January, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit cooler in Puerto Plata, with lows of 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Tue) early enough to drive to Santo Domingo.
