A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Sapporo Beer Museum as well as Sapporo Clock Tower. On the 4th (Tue), contemplate the long history of Sapporo Clock Tower, don't miss a visit to Sapporo TV Tower, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Hokkaido Shrine Tongu, and finally walk around Odori Park. Keep things going the next day: pause for some serene contemplation at Sapporo St. Michael's Church, then take some stellar pictures from Mt. Moiwa, and then examine the collection at Sapporo Beer Museum.

Bangkok, Thailand to Sapporo is an approximately 10- hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight, bus, and train; or do a combination of flight and train. The time zone changes from Indochina Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 2 hour difference. In February, Sapporo is colder than Bangkok - with highs of -1°C and lows of -5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Thu) early enough to take a train to Asahikawa.

Situated in the center of the island, Furano has become known for its idyllic rural landscape, and the drastic changes it experiences as seasons shift.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Sat): get outside with Furano Ski Resort and then make a trip to Ningle Terrace. On the 9th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the dramatic scenery at Shirahige Falls, contemplate the waterfront views at Shirogane Blue Pond, then don't miss a visit to Roller Coaster Road, and finally stop by Furano Marche.

Traveling by car from Furano to Noboribetsu takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or do a combination of bus and train. Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from Furano in February, with highs in Noboribetsu at 1°C and lows at -4°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Tue) early enough to catch the train to Hakodate.
