A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Sapporo Beer Museum as well as Sapporo Clock Tower. Start off your visit on the 4th (Tue): contemplate the long history of Sapporo Clock Tower, enjoy breathtaking views from Sapporo TV Tower, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Hokkaido Shrine Tongu, and finally walk around Odori Park. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Sapporo St. Michael's Church, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Moiwa, and then see the interesting displays at Sapporo Beer Museum.

Bangkok, Thailand to Sapporo is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. The time zone changes from Indochina Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 2 hour difference. In February, Sapporo is much colder than Bangkok - with highs of -1°C and lows of -5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Thu) early enough to take a train to Asahikawa.

On the 8th (Sat), hit the slopes at Furano Ski Resort and then make a trip to Ningle Terrace.
