Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Get some cultural insight at Sensō-ji and Tokyo National Museum. Appreciate the collections at Edo-Tokyo Museum and Ghibli Museum Mitaka. And it doesn't end there: take a stroll through Odaiba, get a sense of history and politics at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings, and make a trip to Tokyo Tower.

Dhaka City, Bangladesh to Tokyo is an approximately 13.5-hour flight. The time zone changes from India Standard Time (IST) to Japan Standard Time (JST), which is usually a 3 hour difference. In July, plan for daily highs up to 36°C, and evening lows to 27°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Thu) to allow time to travel to Numazu.

Numazu tourism focuses primarily on what lies just outside of the town, with the urban area providing a base for wider regional, natural explorations.
Mount Fuji and The Hakone Open-Air Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Relax by the water at Otago Beach and Ita Beach. Explore Numazu's surroundings by going to Izu (Nishiizu Skyline & Toi Beach).

You can take a train from Tokyo to Numazu in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. While traveling from Tokyo, expect a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Numazu, ranging from highs of 32°C to lows of 28°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Sun) early enough to catch the train to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Nijo Castle and Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Gion and Sanjusangendo Temple. Change things up with these side-trips from Kyoto: Osaka (Osaka Castle & Dotonbori). There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Kinkaku-ji, see the interesting displays at Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts Fureaikan, steep yourself in history at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and don't miss a visit to Heian Shrine.

You can take a train from Numazu to Kyoto in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and flight. When traveling from Numazu in July, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Kyoto: temperatures range from 37°C by day to 28°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Wed) early enough to travel to Iwami-cho.

You can drive from Kyoto to Iwami-cho in 3.5 hours. When traveling from Kyoto in July, plan for slightly colder days in Iwami-cho, with highs around 34°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Fri) to allow time to travel to Hiroshima.
