Foz do Iguacu, Brazil to Arequipa is an approximately 14.5- hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and flight; or drive. The time zone difference moving from Brasilia Standard Time (BRT) to Peru Standard Time (PET) is minus 2 hours. Expect little chillier temperatures when traveling from Foz do Iguacu in March; daily highs in Arequipa reach 22°C and lows reach 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Mon) to allow time to travel to Cusco.

Capital of the Inca Empire for three centuries, World Heritage-listed Cusco is now a major tourist destination, drawing nearly 2 million annual tourists with its well-preserved colonial architecture and proximity to Machu Picchu.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Horseback Riding Tours and Sacred Valley of the Incas. Get out of town with these interesting Cusco side-trips: Moray (in Maras) and Cerveceria Willkamayu (in Urubamba). There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of Sacsayhuaman, delve into the distant past at Tipon, hunt for treasures at Mercado Central de San Pedro, and relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas.

Fly from Arequipa to Cusco in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Plan for slightly colder nights when traveling from Arequipa in March since evenings lows in Cusco dip to 9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Thu) early enough to travel to Trujillo.

Considered the country's capital of culture, Trujillo was the birthplace of the North Group, a community of artists and intellectuals that included celebrated poet Cesar Vallejo and notable novelist Ciro Alegria.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Fri): contemplate the long history of La Huaca del Sol, steep yourself in history at Chan Chan, then make a trip to Plaza de Armas de Trujillo, and finally get engrossed in the history at Cao Museum.

Founded in 1535 by Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro, Lima represents an interesting blend of modern attractions and preserved colonial architecture, much of it clustered in the World Heritage-listed city center.
On the 14th (Sat), get engrossed in the history at Museo Convento San Francisco y Catacumbas, admire the landmark architecture of Archbishops Palace, then admire the landmark architecture of Balcones de Lima, and finally push the limits with an extreme tour. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the world behind art at Museo Pedro de Osma, steep yourself in history at Huaca Pucllana, then don't miss a visit to Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor), and finally get engrossed in the history at Museo Larco.
