Darwin

— 14 nights

Outback Capital of the Northern Territory

The smallest of Australia’s state capitals, Darwin has nevertheless become an attractive and important urban center, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities and a gateway to both the Top End region and South East Asia.
Explore Darwin's surroundings by going to Territory Wildlife Park (in Berry Springs), Batchelor Butterfly Farm and Pet Garden (in Batchelor) and Litchfield National Park (Florence Falls, Magnetic Termite Mounds, &more). Spend the 26th (Mon) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's much more to do: make a splash at Darwin Waterfront, look for all kinds of wild species at Crocosaurus Cove, take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and explore the striking landscape at Berry Springs Nature Park.

To see maps, ratings, where to stay, and other tourist information, refer to the Darwin trip itinerary maker site.

In July, plan for daily highs up to 36°C, and evening lows to 22°C.
