Ljubljana, Slovenia to Beijing is an approximately 16-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Central European Standard Time to China Standard Time, which is usually a 7 hour difference. The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Seongsan Ilchulbong and Kim Kyung-Sook Sunflower Farm. Take a break from the city and head to Halla Mountain and The Islander. Spend the 19th (Tue) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. The adventure continues: enjoy the sand and surf at Hamdeok Beach.

You can fly from Beijing to Jeju in 6 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train, ferry, and taxi. Traveling from Beijing to Jeju, you'll lose 1 hour due to the time zone difference. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Tue) so you can travel to Ishigaki.

Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
On the 20th (Wed), see what's hidden on the seafloor at Prime Scuba Ishigaki Diving Center - Day Tour. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: enjoy the sand and surf at Kondoi Beach, take a leisurely stroll along Nishi Pier, then kick back and relax at Yonehara Beach, then take in panoramic vistas at Tamatorizaki Observatory, and finally head outdoors with Cape Hirakubozaki.

Miyakojima, Japan

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Fri): enjoy the sand and surf at Aragusuku Beach, then get outside with Yonaha Maehama Beach, then discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and finally kick back and relax at Sunayama Beach. Keep things going the next day: step off the mainland to explore Shimojiiima Island, kick back and relax at Toguchi no Hama, step off the mainland to explore Irabu-jima Island, then don't miss a visit to Ikema Ohashi Bridge, and finally take in the views from Irabu Ohashi.
