On the 30th (Wed), look for gifts at Yurateiku Market, contemplate the long history of Tojinbaka, and then explore the gorgeous colors at Kabira Ishizaki Manta Scramble. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Nosoko Mape and then visit a coastal fixture at Cape Hirakubozaki.

While traveling from Singapore, expect slightly colder days and about the same nights in Ishigaki, ranging from highs of 34°C to lows of 28°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 31st (Thu) so you can catch the ferry to Iriomote-jima.

Taketomicho Iriomote-Jima stands as the second largest island in Okinawa.
On the 1st (Fri), enjoy the sand and surf at Shirahama Port, take in the dramatic scenery at Mizuochi Falls, then identify plant and animal life at Funauki Village, and finally contemplate the long history of Residence of Niimori. On the next day, take in the dramatic scenery at Kanpiree Waterfall, take in the dramatic scenery at Kanpirei Falls, and then take in the dramatic scenery at Nara no Taki Falls.

Getting from Ishigaki to Iriomote-jima by ferry takes about an hour. In October, plan for daily highs up to 34°C, and evening lows to 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Sat) to allow time to ride a ferry to Miyakojima.

Miyakojima

Miyakojima
A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Get outdoors at Kayaking & Canoeing and Tomori Imugya Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Yabiji and Atarasu Ichiba. There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Nagamahama Beach Coast, steep yourself in history at Sabautsuga, kick back and relax at Ikizu Beach, and stroll the grounds of Nakasone Toyumya Tomb.

Ride a ferry from Iriomote-jima to Miyakojima in 4 hours. In November, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Tue) early enough to travel to Shari-cho.

Tourism in Shari-cho, a small town situated on Hokkaido's eastern tip, flourishes mainly because of its immediate proximity to the Shiretoko World Heritage Site.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Wed): explore the activities along Onnebetsu River, then explore the wealth of natural beauty at Shiretoko Nature Center, and then admire the sheer force of Kashuni Falls.

Getting from Miyakojima to Shari-cho by combination of flight and taxi takes about 9 hours. Other options: do a combination of flight and car. Traveling from Miyakojima in November, things will get much colder in Shari-cho: highs are around 7°C and lows about 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Wed) early enough to travel to Tokyo.

Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Step off the beaten path and head to Ueno and Odaiba Kaihin Koen (Odaiba Seaside Park). Get a sense of the local culture at Yanaka and Odaiba. When in Tokyo, make a side trip to see Mt. Takao in Hachioji, approximately 1h 15 min away. Next up on the itinerary: wander the streets of Marunouchi.

Getting from Shari-cho to Tokyo by combination of taxi and flight takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or do a combination of car, bus, and train. In November, Tokyo is a bit warmer than Shari-cho - with highs of 19°C and lows of 11°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Sat) so you can travel to Kyoto.
