Darwin

The smallest of Australia’s state capitals, Darwin has nevertheless become an attractive and important urban center, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities and a gateway to both the Top End region and South East Asia.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Wangi Falls and Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve. Visit Mindil Beach and Lameroo Beach for some beach relaxation. Venture out of the city with trips to Batchelor (Litchfield National Park & Coomalie Cultural Centre), Litchfield National Park (Buley Rockhole & Florence Falls) and Adelaide River War Cemetery (in Adelaide River). Spend the 30th (Mon) exploring nature at Mary River National Park. And it doesn't end there: identify plant and animal life at Casuarina Coastal Reserve, explore the activities along Lake Alexander, examine the collection at 1934 Qantas Hangar, and learn about all things military at Darwin Military Museum.

The adventure continues: browse the exhibits of Walkatjara Art, tour the pleasant surroundings at Uluru Hiking Path, get engrossed in the history at Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, and explore the striking landscape at Kata Tjuta / Mount Olga.
