Traveling from Seoul in August, you will find days in Sapporo are slightly colder (27°C), and nights are about the same (25°C). Finish up your sightseeing early on the 14th (Wed) so you can travel to Hakodate.

A gateway to the island, Hakodate has gained a reputation for its waterfront attractions, its proximity to some of the island's most popular natural sites, and its seafood.
On the 14th (Sat), take in panoramic vistas at Goryokaku Tower, take a stroll through Motomachi, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Hakodate, and finally don't miss a visit to Hachimanzaka. On your second day here, stop by Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, appreciate the history behind Monument of Takeda Ayasaburo Sensei, admire the landmark architecture of Goryokaku Park, then contemplate the long history of Goryokaku Dozo, and finally soak in some Japanese tradition at some of the top local onsens.
