The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Get a sense of the local culture at Haedong Yonggung Temple and Bokcheon Museum. Get outdoors at Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach. There's lots more to do: hunt for treasures at Busan Gamcheon Culture Village, walk around Yongdusan Park, explore the world behind art at Busan Museum of Art, and examine the collection at Busan Museum.

Traveling by flight from Jeju to Busan takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. Expect a daytime high around 18°C in November, and nighttime lows around 6°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Sun): explore the activities along Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, then see the interesting displays at Gyeongju National Museum, and then pause for some photo ops at Seokguram.

Traveling by car from Busan to Gyeongju takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. While traveling from Busan, expect a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Gyeongju, ranging from highs of 10°C to lows of 8°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Sun) to allow time to drive to Sokcho.

Seoul
