Island of the Gods

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Gwaneumsa Temple and Trick Art Museum Korea. Get outdoors at Seongsan Ilchulbong and Gwakji Gwamul Beach. Take a break from Jeju with a short trip to Gwangchigi Beach in Seogwipo, about 1h 15 min away. Spend the 4th (Wed) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's lots more to do: head outdoors with Hamdeok Beach, explore the world behind art at Jeju Folk Museum, stroll around Sarabong Park, and trek along Jeju Olle Trail Routes.

Ottawa, Canada to Jeju is an approximately 22.5-hour combination of train, bus, and flight. You can also fly. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 14 hours traveling from Ottawa to Jeju. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Sun) so you can travel to Busan.

Busan

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
On the 9th (Mon), kick back and relax at Gwangalli Beach, kick back and relax at Haeundae Beach, get great views at Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Haedong Yonggung Temple, and finally make a trip to Haeundae Cinema Street. Here are some ideas for day two: relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, browse the eclectic array of goods at Busan Gamcheon Culture Village, and then browse the eclectic array of goods at Jagalchi Market.

Fly from Jeju to Busan in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. In November in Busan, expect temperatures between 18°C during the day and 6°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
On the 11th (Wed), engage your brain at Silla Arts And Science Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Bulguksa Temple, and then appreciate the history behind Seokguram.

Traveling by car from Busan to Gyeongju takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. When traveling from Busan in November, plan for slightly colder days and about the same nights in Gyeongju: temperatures range from 10°C by day to 8°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Sokcho.

The capital of the country's northernmost province, the city of Chuncheon acts a gateway to the wilder sights of the rural region.

Seoul

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Get a sense of the local culture at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. Your inner history buff will appreciate Cheonggyecheon Stream and Bongeunsa Temple. Take a break from Seoul with a short trip to Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon, about 1h 5 min away. There's still lots to do: shop like a local with Myeongdong Shopping Street, admire the striking features of Changdeokgung Palace, wander the streets of Insadong, and admire the natural beauty at Namsan Park.
