Visit Sunayama Beach and Aragusuku Beach for some beach relaxation. Escape the urban bustle at Toguchi no Hama and Yonaha Maehama Beach. Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Visiting Scuba & Snorkeling and Stand-Up Paddleboarding will get you outdoors. Visit Nirai Beach and Okuma Beach for some beach relaxation. Explore Onna-son's surroundings by going to Sefa-Utaki (in Nanjo), Okichan Theater (in Motobu-cho) and Nakijin Castle Ruins (in Nakijin-son). The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Eikando Zenrinji Temple are good opportunities to explore the local culture. For shopping fun, head to Dotonbori or Nishiki Market Shopping District. Traveling by flight from Onna-son to Kyoto takes 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of ferry and train. Traveling from Onna-son in October, things will get little chillier in Kyoto: highs are around 27°C and lows about 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Sat) to allow time to travel to Tokyo.
