One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes DMZ Haemaru Village, Banpo Hangang Park, The War Memorial of Korea, and other attractions you added. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace. Montreal, Canada to Seoul is an approximately 19.5-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly; or do a combination of train and flight. Traveling from Montreal to Seoul, you'll lose 14 hours due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Montreal in October, expect Seoul to be a bit warmer, temps between 22°C and 21°C. Tourism in Sokcho mostly revolves around the local national park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Thu): explore the wealth of natural beauty at Seoraksan National Park, then browse the eclectic array of goods at Sokcho Jungang Market, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Naksansa Temple, and finally make a trip to Abai Village.

Traveling by car from Seoul to Sokcho takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Seoul in October, Sokcho is a bit cooler at night with lows of 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Busan.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Get a sense of the local culture at Haedong Yonggung Temple and Gamcheon Culture Village. Beomeosa Temple and UN Memorial Cemetery will appeal to history buffs. Step out of Busan to go to Gyeongju and see Anapji Pond, which is approximately 1h 15 min away. The adventure continues: get outside with Haeundae Beach, don't miss a visit to Statue of Chungmoogong, stroll around Yongdusan Park, and kick back and relax at Gwangalli Beach.

You can drive from Sokcho to Busan in 5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or do a combination of bus and train. While traveling from Sokcho, expect somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Busan, ranging from highs of 26°C to lows of 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel to Jeju.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Hyeopjae Beach has been added to your itinerary. Visiting Halla Mountain and Gwaneumsa Temple will get you outdoors. Do some cultural sightseeing at Hallim Park and O’sulloc Tea Museum. Change things up with a short trip to Seongsan Ilchulbong in Seogwipo (about 1h 20 min away). The adventure continues: Head underground at Manjanggul Cave, make a trip to Mysterious Road (Dokkaebi Road), explore the striking landscape at Yongduam Rock, and kick back and relax at Gwakji Gwamul Beach.

Traveling from Busan in October, expect somewhat warmer with lows of 23°C in Jeju. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 16th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel to Seoul.
