Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Explore hidden gems such as Katsuren Castle Ruins and Nakagusuku Castle Ruins. Your inner history buff will appreciate Okinawa Peace Memorial Park and Zakimi Castle Ruins. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Onna-son: Valley of Gangala (in Nanjo) and Itoman (The Tower of Himeyuri, Himeyuri Peace Museum, &more). There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, explore the fascinating underground world of Blue Cave, make a trip to Cape Maeda, and get outside with Sun Marina Beach.
