Fly from Yakushima-cho to Shari-cho in 10.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, car, and train. Expect a bit cooler temperatures when traveling from Yakushima-cho in June; daily highs in Shari-cho reach 20°C and lows reach 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 21st (Mon) to allow enough time to travel to Rebun-cho.
