High in the Andean foothills, Quito remains one of the world's most photogenic capital cities, featuring two dramatic mountain ranges as its backdrop.
Change things up with these side-trips from Quito: Pichincha (in Puerto Quito), Cotacachi (Museo de las Culturas & Cuicocha) and Otavalo (Otavalo Market, Mercado 24 de Mayo, &more).
