Mexico City, Mexico to Kanazawa is an approximately 18.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 15 hour difference. You can take a train from Kanazawa to Kyoto in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In July in Kyoto, expect temperatures between 37°C during the day and 28°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Sat) to allow enough time to take a train to Hiroshima.

A resort town located in the foothills of Mount Fuji, Fujikawaguchiko-machi acts as a base for many who plan to take one of the trails up the iconic volcano.
Venture out of the city with trips to Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine (in Fujinomiya), Hakone-machi (Owaku-dani Valley, The Hakone Open-Air Museum, & more) and Kenshin Falls (in Hayakawa-cho). There's still lots to do: get impressive views of Mount Fuji, take in the dramatic scenery at Haha no Shirataki Waterfall, and explore the activities along Lake Kawaguchi.
