Do a combination of flight and train from Ishigaki to Hiroshima in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Ishigaki in April: high temperatures in Hiroshima hover around 22°C and lows are around 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sun) to allow enough time to take a train to Kyoto.
