The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Visiting Sangumburi Crater and Hamdeok Beach will get you outdoors. Your inner history buff will appreciate Gwaneumsa Temple and Bulsari Tapsa Temple. Go for a jaunt from Jeju to Seogwipo to see Seongsan Ilchulbong about 1h 20 min away. Fly from Jeju to Seoul in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and train; or do a combination of ferry and car. When traveling from Jeju in September, plan for slightly colder days in Seoul, with highs around 72°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 71°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Mon) so you can drive to Sokcho.
