Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 8 hours traveling from Stockholm to Kyoto. Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Nakijin Castle Ruins and Okinawa Peace Memorial Park. Get outdoors at Scuba & Snorkeling and Okuma Beach. Step out of Onna-son with an excursion to Nirai Beach in Yomitan-son--about 36 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: kick back and relax at Manza Beach, tour the pleasant surroundings at Diamond Beach, and make a trip to Cape Maeda.

Miyakojima

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Take a break from the city and head to Yabiji and Nagamahama Beach Coast. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Kayaking & Canoeing and Farm Shop Utopia Farm Miyakojima. Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
