Ishigaki

Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
Go for a jaunt from Ishigaki to Iriomote-jima to see Canyoning & Rappelling Tours about 1h 55 min away. There's lots more to do: explore the activities along Kabira Bay, take in panoramic vistas at Tamatorizaki Observatory, stroll around Kabira Park, and find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area.

Take a break from Tokyo with a short trip to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama, about 30 minutes away. When traveling from Tokyo in July, plan for slightly colder days in Fujikawaguchiko-machi, with highs around 28°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 25°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 21st (Tue) so you can go by car to Kanazawa.
