Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Centro Historico de Lima and Parque Kennedy - Parque Central de Miraflores. MALI - Museo de Arte de Lima and Museo Convento San Francisco y Catacumbas will appeal to museum buffs. The largest city in the Peruvian Amazon and the world's largest metropolis unreachable by road, Iquitos represents a major starting point for river and rainforest adventures.
