A gateway to a sprawling and diverse national park, a center of Shinto spiritualism and place of Buddhist worship, an emblem of the riches and dominance of the Tokugawa shogunate: Nikko means many things to many people.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Yudaki Falls and Yunoko Lake. Get a sense of the local culture at Ryuzu Waterfall and Kammangafuchi Gorge. When in Nikko, make a side trip to see Fukuroda Falls in Daigo-machi, approximately 1h 40 min away. There's lots more to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Chuzenji, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Rinno-ji Temple, find something for the whole family at Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura, and take in the pleasant sights at Senjogahara Field.

Tokyo to Nikko is an approximately 2-hour train ride. You can also drive. When traveling from Tokyo in November, plan for a bit cooler days in Nikko, with highs around 15°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Sat) to allow time to travel to Ishigaki.

Traveling from Nikko in November, expect nights in Ishigaki to be somewhat warmer, around 25°C, while days are much warmer, around 31°C. Miyakojima

Miyakojima
A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Yabiji and Kayaking & Canoeing. Get in touch with nature at Scuba & Snorkeling and Sunayama Beach. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Aragusuku Beach, enjoy the sea views from Higashi Hennazaki Lighthouse, step off the mainland to explore Shimojiiima Island, and make a trip to East Henna Cape.

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.

In December in Hiroshima, expect temperatures between 13°C during the day and 4°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 13th (Fri) early enough to travel to Kanazawa.
