Founded in 1535 by Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro, Lima represents an interesting blend of modern attractions and preserved colonial architecture, much of it clustered in the World Heritage-listed city center.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Centro Historico de Lima and San Isidro. Visit Site Museum and Archaeological Sanctuary of Pachacamac and Basilica y Monasterio de Santo Domingo for their historical value. There's still lots to do: identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, snap pictures at Bridge of Sighs, fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, and relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas.

Brasilia, Brazil to Lima is an approximately 7.5- hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. The time zone difference when traveling from Brasilia to Lima is minus 2 hours.
