Often known as the Gateway to the Black Forest, Pforzheim features a wealth of educational institutions, cultural sites, and centers for the arts.
Get out of town with these interesting Pforzheim side-trips: Triberger Waterfall (in Triberg), Wildparadies Tripsdrill (in Cleebronn) and Lake Titisee (in Titisee-Neustadt). There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Ulmer Münster, see the interesting displays at Technik Museum Speyer, admire the striking features of Speyer Cathedral, and meet the residents at Wildpark Pforzheim.

For more things to do, reviews, where to stay, and more tourist information, refer to the Pforzheim trip itinerary planner.

If you are flying in from Colombia, the closest major airports are Stuttgart Airport, Karlsruhe Baden-Baden Airport and Saarbrücken Airport. In November in Pforzheim, expect temperatures between 10°C during the day and 2°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
