One of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, Madurai sits on the banks of the River Vaigai and serves as a center of Tamil culture.
On the 15th (Sun), take in the spiritual surroundings of Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Alagarkoil Temple and Shrine.
